Twenty years ago a father from Southeast Christian Church invited several other fathers to join him in forming a father/son group. With the goal of sharing the love of Jesus with his son, he presented a vision to the fathers who joined him. Highly encouraged, each father made a commitment to one another that he would be a major presence in the life of each other's son(s). They were committed to raising their boys to seek the adventure that can only be found in Christ. Together, for the next ten plus years, the fathers planned, organized and carried out activities which always revealed to their sons what it looks like when you follow Jesus with all your heart.    This Thursday, January 20th, several members of that group of fathers will share their story and you are invited to join us! It is their hope to encourage other fathers to gather a small group like they did and go on an adventure themselves.
