Home to over 170,000 people, the Navajo Nation has been especially hard-hit by the pandemic. As of this week they have reported 454 known deaths, they have a greater mortality rate, per capita, than any state in the Union. This donation drive event is to help provide much needed essential items to this 'at risk' Native American population. This will be a safe, hands-free, drive-thru event- just pull into the parking lot, we will unload your donations from inside your vehicle or trunk and off you go!! Here is a list of needed supplies: • 1 gal. Bleach • Disinfectant Wipes • Canned Protein: -Chunk Tuna, Chicken, “Spam,” Peanut Butter, etc. • Canned Vegetables • Canned Fruit • 2 lb. bag Long Grain Rice • 2 lb. bag Pinto Beans • 48 oz. Vegetable Oil • 5 lb. bag Flour • 4 lb. bag Sugar • Pasta, “Mac & Cheese,” Spaghetti, “Cup O’ Noodles,” etc. • Canned Spaghetti Sauce-(NO glass jars!) • Plastic Storage Containers: (Sam's “Tough Box” 12 gal. 2 for $10.00, or 27 gal. $8.00. Costco “Greenmade” 12 gal. 2 for $11.50, or 27 gal, $8.50. Home Depot “HDX” 27 gal. $9.00)
